it happened?

i told myself
firmly
no expectations.

empty vessel.
not a performance.

for the first time,
i lay my loving hands on
cold limbs that

feel nothing.

But.

undeniably…

life waits
under the ice.

one gentle incantation

and within seconds,

the body
that was silent
for ten years

replied.
